This allows the air to stay circulated when the doors are closed in the room by pushing the air out into the common space where the return duct is. It also acts as a sound dampener. With the variable speeds of the fan, the room is well suited to calls and meetings.
Closet space added for this room with outlet and lights. The speaker wires also terminate behind the wall plate in the back. This closet is the central termination point for the whole-home in-ceiling speaker wiring.
Detects occupancy in the room to determine when to run the HVAC, so conditioning follows where people actually are rather than heating and cooling an empty room.
Dimmable Lutron smart lighting with the ceiling fan on the same system. Both are controllable from a phone or by voice and can run on a schedule.

Every room wired for Ethernet
Each room and common space has an Ethernet port connected by Cat6 cables. Wired connections are faster and more stable than Wi-Fi and do not degrade as more devices join the network.

Accordion window blinds
The blinds can be adjusted from the top and bottom, so you can let light in at the top while keeping privacy below. Air pockets in the cell structure provide insulation at the window.
